After meeting with new US Secretary of State, Jim Inhofe is optimistic about Biden administration’s support for international law in Western Sahara.

US Senator Jim Inhofe has revealed that he had discussed at length with the new US Secretary of State Antony Blinken the situation in Western Sahara.

“I’ve talked to Antony Blinken on various issues that I think are important, there’s one problem that we’ve talked about at length, which is the Western Sahara issue, he understands very well international issues,” Inhofe said during a Senate session to endorse the appointment of the new Secretary of State.

The US Senator, who received assurances from the Secretary of State regarding support for international legitimacy in Western Sahara, indicated that the meeting was positive, adding that the appointment of Secretary of State Antony Blinken must be quickly approved.
