Algerian Foreign Minister discusses with his US counterpart situation in Western Sahara

Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sabri Boukadoum on Thursday made a phone conversation with the US Secretary of State, Tony Blinken, on ways to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries. They also exchanged views on several regional issues of common interest, particularly the situation in Western Sahara.

Mr. Sabri Boukadoum said in a tweet: “In a phone conversation with the American Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, ways to revive and strengthen the strategic partnership between Algeria and the United States of America in various fields were discussed, as well as an exchange of views on common regional issues, particularly the situations in Western Sahara, Libya and Mali”.
