The Permanent Office of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front expressed its strong condemnation of the cowardly targeting of two Algerian trucks within the commercial convoys between Algeria and Mauritania, by the Moroccan occupation forces.
In a statement that culminated its meeting on Wednesday chaired by President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, the Permanent Office, on behalf of the Sahrawi people, congratulated sisterly Algeria on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of November 1st, expressing its strongest condemnation of the cowardly targeting of two Algerian civilian trucks on the road linking Nouakchott to Ouargla, while they were in a natural movement of trade between the peoples of the region.
The Permanent Office considered the victims of this cowardly attack martyrs of the Sahrawi people’s cause and struggle, whose blood mingled once again with that of their Algerian brothers.
The Permanent Office extended its fraternal condolences, on behalf of the Sahrawi people, to the Algerian people and to the families and relatives of these martyrs.
Three (3) Algerian nationals were cowardly murdered after their trucks were “barbarically bombarded” on the road linking Nouakchott to Ouargla, said Wednesday a statement of the Presidency of the Algerian Republic, cited by Algerian Press Service (APS), which referred to several factors pointing to Morocco’s occupation forces in Western Sahara as “having committed this cowardly murder with sophisticated weaponry.”
“Their murder will not go unpunished,” added the statement.
