Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sabri Boukadoum, has stressed that the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic is a member of the African Union, and it enjoys full sovereignty over its territory, in a statement on Sunday morning to the press, after casting his vote in the referendum on the new Algerian constitution.
“There is international law, the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic is a member of the African Union, and it enjoys full sovereignty over its territory,” Mr. Boukadoum recalled in a reply to a question about the recent opening of a consulate in the occupied Sahrawi city of El Aaiun.
