South Africa Foreign Affairs Minister pays visit to Sahrawi Republic

The Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa, Dr Naledi Pandor, will on Saturday and Sunday pay a solidarity and working visit to the Sahrawi Republic, the South African Ministry of International Relations and Cooperation said in a statement.

On the occasion of the visit, the South African chief of diplomacy will reiterate her country’s support for the inalienable rights of the Sahrawi people to self-determination and freedom. It will also be an opportunity to exchange views on issues of common interest and to explore ways to strengthen relations between the two countries, the statement added.

The south African official’s visit comes at a time when the Sahrawi people are celebrating the first anniversary of the resumption of the armed struggle on November 13, 2021.
