South African Foreign Minister: Our membership of Security Council has enabled us to advocate for struggle of Palestinian and Sahrawi peoples for self-determination and freedom

The Foreign Minister of the Republic of South Africa, Mrs. Naledi Pandor, expressed Friday her satisfaction for the prominent role played by South Africa during its membership in the UN Security Council, which was dedicated to serving peace and security in the world.

In a statement marking the end of South Africa’s membership of the UN Security Council, the head of South African diplomacy said her country had defended the struggle of the Palestinian and Sahrawi peoples for self-determination, freedom, equality, justice and dignity.
