A map has been published by the United States Department of Commerce showing that the Free Trade Agreement between the United States and Morocco does not cover Western Sahara.

The Department of International Trade has published an updated map for February 2021, which includes countries with free trade agreements with the United States where Morocco has been mapped to its internationally recognized borders.

The United States had signed the Free Trade Agreement with Morocco in July 2004, where it had been confirmed that the Agreement did not include the territory of Western Sahara on the United Nations list of territories awaiting decolonization.
