The White House spokesperson, Jen Psaki, confirmed Thursday that the administration is reviewing former President Donald Trump’s decisions in response to a press question about the Biden administration’s position on Trump’s declaration on Western Sahara.

The American official revealed that the US administration is currently reviewing Trump’s decisions, including the Abraham agreements, adding that she had no update on the decision related to Western Sahara, indicating that Trump’s announcement is still under review.

Pending a review of Trump’s announcement, the United States administration wanted to send messages about its commitment to the United Nations path to resolving the Western Sahara issue, with U.S. State Department spokesperson Ned Price announcing that the United States would continue to support the United Nations path towards a just and lasting solution to the conflict in Western Sahara.

Ned Price said during a recent press conference that the US would continue to support the UN process to implement a just and lasting solution to this long-standing conflict, and it would also support the work of the United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO) to monitor the ceasefire and prevent violence in the region.
